TO: Honorable Mayor and Members of the City Council

SUBJECT: APPOINTMENT OF CHAIR AND VICE CHAIR TO THE GENERAL
PLAN ADVISORY COMMITTEE
RECOMMENDATION
Confirm Mayor Ridgeway's appointment of as Chair and
as Vice Chair to the General Plan Advisory Committee.
BACKGROUND
The enabling resolution (Resolution No. 2001 -22) that was adopted on April 10, 2001
established that the Mayor shall appoint a Chairperson from the members appointed to
the Committee. At the February 26, 2002 meeting the City Council appointed the
members to the committee. At that meeting Mayor Ridgeway requested that the
Council provide the City Clerk with their preferences for whom they would like
appointed as Chair and Vice Chair. Based upon the input received, the Mayor will
select people to fill these positions prior to the Council meeting.
