SUBJECT: RELEASE OF BONDS FOR PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS -TRACT NO. 15332
LOCATION: EASTERLY SIDE OF JAMBOREE ROAD BETWEEN FORD ROAD AND
BISON AVENUE
DEVELOPER: PACIFIC BAY HOMES, NEWPORT BEACH
RECOMMENDATIONS:
Approve the improvement plans and specifications and accept the public improvements
constructed in conjunction with Tract No. 15332.
Authorize the City Clerk to release the faithful performance bonds for on -site
improvements, Ford Road and Jamboree Road off -site improvements (Bond No's.
5907684, 5907685, & 5907686 respectively).
3. Authorize the City Clerk to release the labor and material bonds for on -site
improvements and Ford Road and Jamboree Road off -site improvements (Bond No's.
5907684, 5907685, & 5907686 respectively) in six months, provided no claims have
been filed.
DISCUSSION:
The private improvements constructed in conjunction with Tract No. 15332 include the
construction of curb, gutter, sidewalk, streetlights, street paving, and storm drain
improvements. These improvements will be maintained by the developer.
The public improvements constructed in conjunction with Tract No. 15332 have been
inspected and are satisfactory for acceptance. The public improvements include the
construction of water and sewer improvements both on -site and off -site and the construction of
street improvements within the Bison Avenue, Ford Road, and Jamboree Road right -of -way.
These improvements will be maintained by the City.
An exhibit is attached -showing the non - standard improvements and the location of the subject
project.__
