the 4911 NationaCConvention of GirCScouts of the 'USA, the nation's preeminent
organisationforgi&; and
TWEUAS, throughout its 90 yearhistory, GirCScouting has inspired50 miNon
women from coast to coast with the highest ideals of character, conduct, and
patriotism; and
UWEREAS, thousands of GirCScoutsfrom aroundthe woddwilfgatherupon our
very own Southern California shore to chart the future course of GirCScouting; and
U-YtEREAS, GidScout volunteers, inchutng a new anddverse national6oardof
directors, comprisedof business andcommunity leaders, wilC6ecome mentors to Girl
Scouts everywhere; and
'4VJCEREAS, through participation in community service projects nationwide, every
gidwillfearn to care about her community andperhaps make a change far the better.
