REQUEST FOR CONTINUANCES: HEARING ITEMS: ITEM NOL SUBJECT: Code Amendment No. 2002 -005 (PA2002 -161) Balboa Village Design Guidelines (Continued from 09/19/2002) SUMMARY: Request to amend the Central Balboa Specific Plan District #8, removing the existing design guidelines from Section 20.45.025 and adding revised Section 20.45.025 establishing the Balboa Village Design Guidelines and establishing development plan procedures. ACTION: Adopt Resolution No. , recommending that the City Council approve the requested amendment and the Balboa Village Design Guidelines. ITEM NO. 2. SUBJECT: Wetherholt Residence (PA2002 -102) 217 30th Street (Continued from 09/19/2002) SUMMARY: A Variance request for a proposed third level addition to an existing two -story residential structure. The Variance includes a request to exceed the floor area limit, to exceed the established maximum building height of 24 feet and to provide less than the minimum required open space. ACTION: Continue to November 7. 2002. ALL TESTIMONY GIVEN BEFORE THE PLANNING COMMISSION IS TAPE RECORDED. SPEAKERS MUST LIMIT REMARKS TO THREE MINUTES ON ALL ITEMS.
