Item No. 23 & 26
I know that your agenda may provide for a fairly long meeting tomorrow night. To
assist in not lengthening the meeting more than it could be, I propose that two items be
moved to the Consent Calendar, as well as noting minor changes to each. These are:
Item #23 — Direction Regarding the CdM Bypass. It is staff's new recommendation
that this be moved to the Consent Calendar along with a recommended action of
" Direct staff to undertake ...:' (with the rest of the motion
remaining as written)."
Item #26 — Defend the Bay Agreement. It is staff's recommendation that this be moved
to the Consent Calendar, with a clarification that the Agreement and any attachments
shall provide that the final version of any recognition plaque(s) as it /they refers to the
City Council shall be consistent with the City's past practice, which is to identify the
City Council as a body as well as each member by name.
