I would like to be on this Board as I am interested in the quality of life in the Newport Beach
area and would like to continue the work done by the PB &R commission by improving
;the facilities /services that we do have and adding more if possible.
;One very important aspect of Newport Beach, adding to the quality of life in this area, is
that we are fortunate to have many parks (including beaches) and recreation opportunities
;not only available to the residents of this area but to the many visitors as well. Without
(such facilities, our neighborhoods would be lacking. As the Newport area continues to
;develop, these needs become more pronounced. Additionally, the fine assets that we
,have must be maintained and cared for so they are attractive in the future.
I
I am a user of many of these facilities (beaches and parks) and services (recreation)
and have familiarity generally with the work of this commission. While I am not an
;expert in any specific area relating to beaches or parks /recreation services, I do
;bring great enthusiasm and a concern for our community to the commission.
