SUBJECT: Scheduling of the public hearing for the St. Andrews Presbyterian
Church expansion project (PA2002 -265).
APPLICANT: St. Andrews Presbyterian Church
ISSUE
When should the public hearing for the St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church be
scheduled?
RECOMMENDATION
Determine the most appropriate date for the public hearing.
DISCUSSION
Given the controversial nature of the St. Andrew's project and the impending vacancy
on the City Council; staff requests guidance as to the scheduling of the public hearing
for the project.
The earliest date for the hearing would be the regularly scheduled Council meeting of
June 28th. The regular meeting of July 12th may be cancelled and the next regular
meeting would be on July 26th. A special meeting can also be scheduled.
