Dear Mayor, Distinguished Members of The City Counsel,

Unfortunately I am unable to attend tonight's meeting personally but
have asked PB &R Commission's Chairman Tobin to speak to this body very
briefly regarding our commissions highly contentious recent decision
regarding a reforestation request made by Harbor View Hills South. The
matter especially raising the IR of Mr. Ridgeway, whom I consider, and still
do, a good friend. However, his recent commentary regarding my decision to
vote against this request I feel borders on being vituperative in nature.
Please remember only Commissioners Ruzkka, Skoro and Tobin took
the time to physically review the request, as you know as a non - remunerated
public service.
Candidly, the applications at issue were blatantly disingenuous as to
representations made in the application, which I took personally and was
influential in my "no vote ", such as alleged hard scape damage that simply
did not exist.
