1. INTERVIEWS OF DISTRICT 5 APPLICANTS.
Action: 1) By lot, determine order of candidates to be interviewed.
2) Conduct interviews.
3) Public comments.
2. SELECTION OF DISTRICT 5 COUNCIL MEMBER.
Action: 1) Discussion of candidates.
2) Conduct selection by paper ballot.
3) New Council Member announced by the City Clerk.
3. ADMINISTRATION OF OATH OF OFFICE.
Action: 1) The City Clerk calls the newly appointed District 5 Council
Member forward and administers the Oath of Office
prescribed in the State Constitution.
2) The newly appointed Council Member is seated at the Council
dais.
4. CHARTER PROVISIONS AND PROCEDURE FOR ELECTION OF MAYOR
(contd. from 6/14/05).
Action: 1) Conduct election for Mayor and Mayor Pro Tem (if necessary);
OR
2) Schedule election for June 28, 2005 meeting.
E. PUBLIC COMMENTS Public Comments are invited on non - agenda items generally
considered to be within the subject matter jurisdiction of the
Council -- Speakers must limit comments to 3- minutes. Before
speaking, please state your name for the record.
F. ADJOURNMENT
