SUBJECT: Scheduling of the public hearing for the St. Andrews Presbyterian
Church expansion project (PA2002 -265).
APPLICANT: St. Andrews Presbyterian Church
ISSUE
When should the public hearing for the St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church be
scheduled?
RECOMMENDATION
Determine the most appropriate date for the public hearing.
DISCUSSION
Given the controversial nature of the St. Andrew's project and the recent appointment of
a new member to the City Council; staff requests guidance as to the scheduling of the
public hearing for the project.
The earliest date for the hearing would be the regularly scheduled Council meeting of
July 12`h unless it is cancelled. However, staff may have some difficulty completing all
the work necessary to bring the item forward on that date. The next regular meeting
would be on July 26`h: A special meeting can also be scheduled.
