SUBJECT: Appointment to Environmental Quality Affairs Committee
RECOMMENDATION:
Confirm Council Member Daigle's appointment of Laura Curran to the Environmental
Quality Affairs Committee (EQAC).
DISCUSSION:
Phillip Lugar, who held the District 4 at large seat on EQAC, recently resigned after
being appointed to the Parks, Beaches and Recreation Commission. Each Council
Member appoints one person to EQAC from his or her District, and one person who
need not reside in the District (the at large member). Laura Curran has filed an
application for appointment to EQAC (attached), and Council Member Daigle wishes to
appoint her.
