RE: Prohibition of Burning of Wood in Newport Beach's Fire Rings;
Direction to only burn Charcoal.
Pursuant to Newport Beach Municipal Code Section 11.08.060 (B), I hereby notify
the public that, starting March 14, 2014, the only fuel that can be burned in
Newport Beach's sixty (60) beach fire rings is charcoal. This is to comply with Rule
444 of the South Coast Air Quality Management District.
