SUBJECT: APPOINTMENTS BY THE MAYOR TO THE COUNCIL/CITIZENS AD
HOC COMMITTEES, THE JOINT GOVERNMENTAL COMMITTEES,
AND THE CITIZENS ADVISORY COMMITTEES.
BACKGROUND:
Pursuant to Council Policy A -9, the Mayor on an annual basis appoints Council
Members, subject to Council confirmation, to serve on the various Council /Citizens Ad
Hoc Committees, the Joint Governmental Committees, and the Citizens Advisory
Committees. The Council confirmed the Mayor's appointments on January 24, 2006,
which was after the resignation of Council Member Heffernan and prior to the
appointment of Council Member Curry to fill his position. Consequently the Mayor has
requested that the following appointment changes be made.
RECOMMENDATION:
Confirm the following appointments as recommended by the Mayor:
