Greetings City Council Members,
As a Business Owner and Realtor for several years here in Corona del Mar, I have come to appreciate what a difficult job
you have making everyone happy.
I understand the City will be discussing Real Estate Signs, rules, regulations, and a solution for the sings.
The bottom line is most Realtors promote themselves ahead of promoting their properties. I understand as I am one
myself. However, there has to be a fine line at keeping our community in a preteen matter, promoting and working at
the same time.
If everyone had to use the same sign, with the same colors, with the same print and using the same size, it would
eliminate half the signs, all the clutter, and have the same effective results. Its simple, have a generic sign where we all
use the same sign saying OPEN HOUSE, an arrow, our name with BRE# and company name on the bottom.
Give us permission to use an A frame to be posted on a sidewalk preferably behind a pole and not blocking any walk way
would be a win win for everyone.
