SUBJECT: REAPPOINTMENTS TO THE MEDIA & COMMUNICATIONS
COMMITTEE
RECOMMENDATION:
Confirm the Mayor's reappointment of the following citizen representatives to the
Committee for an additional two -year term:
Resident - Donald Boortz
Resident — Daniel Wampole.
DISCUSSION:
On March 28, 2006, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 2006 -24 establishing the
Media & Communications Committee. The committee is comprised of three City Council
Members and two citizen representatives. The citizen representatives each serve a two -
yearterm.
Mr. Boortz and Mr. Wampole have diligently served the Committee by regularly
attending the committee meetings and consistently providing good input and feedback
on matters under its review. Their terms expired on March 28 of this year. The City
Council representatives on the Committee — Mayor Pro Tern Leslie Daigle, Council
Member Keith Curry and Council Member Nancy Gardner - unanimously recommended
the reappointment of Mr. Boortz and Mr. Wampole to the committee.
