At the conclusion of the application period (May 13, 2010) the committee reviewed the applications on file and conducted interviews with selected applicants on Thursday, May 27, 2010, and Thursday, June 3, 2010. The appointments to fill these vacancies are scheduled for Tuesday, June 22, 2010. All new terms will be effective July 1, 2010, with an expiration date of June 30, 2014. As a superintendent, I lead the school board, developed the agenda, trained school board members in governance, policies, regulations, and personnel. My wife and I raised three daughters in this city, taking advantage of the excellent education, recreation, and community programs offered by the City.
