OOr�an�ge Co. � --+ `giverstle Co`'1 San Diego Co Impena SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA MESON The New Wave of Plug -in Electric Vehicles Some of the vehicles in the pipeline for 2010 -12 Nissan _ Mitsubishi • Southern California will be a hot spot for plug -in electric vehicles (PEVs) with major OEMs launching new models by the end of 2010 • SCE has been a PEV industry leader since 1988, and we are now leveraging that expertise to execute a comprehensive PEV Readiness program • In the near -term there are three primary areas of focus: 1. Distribution grid impacts 2. Efficient customer service s. On -going dialogue to understand the current city process and review opportunities for streamlining 2. Discuss opportunities on education and outreach (information on webinar scheduled for November 3, 2010, 9- 11am PST will be posted on website) 3. Regional partnerships to seek funding for chargeport infrastructure in public lots / streets, workplaces, retail and community destinations, and vehicle fleet locations 4.
