Subject: Undergrounding Agenda Item- Requested correction
Dear Councilmembers, Dave and Leilani-
After reviewing tonight's Council agenda on undergrounding in Newport Beach, I need to request a
correction to the staff report. Specifically, the report states "City and SCE staff are recommending an
early property owner vote prior to expending any more design efforts on the 20a project or advancing
design funds for the AD 116 project." As we have indicated before, SCE provides no recommendation
on voting timelines for rule 20B assessment districts as it is outside of our jurisdiction.
