Dear City of Newport Beach,
The Kiwanis of Newport Beach — Corona del Mar have been involved with the
Pacific Coast Triathlon from it's inception.
The benefits provided to our community because Kiwanis is a sponsor of the
Pacific Coast Triathlon are in the form of support for our Youth Groups at the High
Schools (Corona del Mar & Harbor), Boy Scouts Troop 90, Seabase Ship 90 and
BUG program (Bring Up Grades) at Mariners School. We also support CHOC,
Special Olympics and Southwest Community Center.
The Kiwanis' Moto: Serving the Children of the World
Please approve the City Special Event Support Grant so that we can continue
to offer the children of our community these opportunities.
