SUBJECT: APPOINTMENT BY THE MAYOR TO THE LEAGUE OF CALIFORNIA CITIES (LCC)
RECOMMENDATION:
Confirm the Mayor's appointment of Council Member Leslie Daigle to the League of California Cities
(LCC).
DISCUSSION:
Pursuant to Council Policy A -9, the Mayor on an annual basis appoints Council Members, subject to
Council confirmation, to serve on the various Council /Citizens Ad Hoc Committees, the Joint
Governmental Committees, and the Citizens Advisory Committees. Mayor Henn made the annual
appointments on January 11, 2011, however, the appointment to the League of California Cities
(LCC) was not conducted.
ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW:
Staff recommends the City Council find this action is not subject to the California
Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Sections 15060(c)(3) of the CEQA Guidelines,
California Code of Regulations, Title 14, Chapter 3 because the activity is not a project as
defined in Section 15378 and has no potential for resulting in physical change to the
environment, directly or indirectly.
PUBLIC NOTICE:
Notice has been given consistent with the Ralph M. Brown Act. No other public notice is
required by this item.
