TITLE: Balboa Theater Potential Lease Amendments
ABSTRACT:
On September 13, 2011 the Balboa Theater lease was presented to City Council with
amendments for their review and approval. City Council raised questions regarding the
procedures for any potential sale of the property and directed staff to research this item
and bring the lease back for review at the September 27, 2011 Council meeting. The
Balboa Performing Arts Theater Foundation has now asked for additional time to review
the proposed changes to the lease.
RECOMMENDATION:
Continue this item to the October 25, 2011 meeting.
