SUBJECT: Request by City Arts Commission for City Council to accept
donation of art for inclusion in City Art Collection.
RECOMMENDATION:
Accept donation of original work titled "Welcome to Balboa" created by artist, Jane Hill.
DISCUSSION:
The City Arts Commission has reviewed and accepted by majority agreement, a
donation of art to the City of Newport Beach by artist, Jane Hill. The artwork donated is
36" x 24" in size and has a value of $350.00. The Arts Commission recommends
placing the work in the lobby of Council Chambers.
