D. CONTINUED BUSINESS
1. PARAMETERS FOR CONDUCTING DISTRICT 2 COUNCIL CANDIDATE
INTERVIEWS AND THE SELECTION OF A NEW COUNCIL MEMBER.
Action: 1) By lot, determine order of candidates to be interviewed.
2) Conduct interviews.
2. SELECTION OF DISTRICT 2 COUNCIL MEMBER.
Action: 1) Discussion of candidates.
2) Conduct selection by paper ballot.
3) New Council Member announced by the City Clerk.
3. ADMINISTRATION OF OATH OF OFFICE.
Action: 1) The City Clerk calls the newly appointed District 2 Council
Member forward and administers the Oath of Office
prescribed in the State Constitution.
2) The newly appointed Council Member is seated at the Council
dais.
E. PUBLIC COMMENTS Public Comments are invited on non- agenda items generally
considered to be within the subject matter jurisdiction of the
Council -- Speakers must limit comments to 3- minutes. Before
speaking, please state your name for the record.
