NEWPORT MARINE LIFE REFUGE
It is the policy of the City Council, through cooperative and mutually
supportive endeavors of the City of Newport Beach, County of Orange
and the State Fish and Game Department to preserve and enhance the
natural assets of the Refuge; to create the best possible marine tide
pool environment; and to insure their continued existence.
Adopted - October 26, 1976
Reaffirmed - February 9, 1981
