HomeMy WebLinkAbout04 - Relating to Residential Permit Parking Hours on Margaret Drive4-1 NEWPORT BEACH City Council Staff Report COUNCIL STAFF REPORT CITY OF February 23, 2016 Agenda Item No. 4 ABSTRACT: On February 9, 2016, the City Council introduced and conducted the first reading of Ordinance No. 2016-3, which amended Newport Beach Municipal Code (NBMC) Section 12.68.060 (B) relating to Residential Permit Parking Hours for Margaret Drive. The City Council passed Ordinance No. 2016-3 to a second reading on February 23, 2016. RECOMMENDATION: Conduct second reading and adopt Ordinance No. 2016-3, An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Newport Beach amending Subsection 12.68.060 (B) of the Newport Beach Municipal Code regarding the Residential Parking Permit Program for Newport Heights and Cliff Haven. FUNDING REQUIREMENTS: There is no fiscal impact related to this item. ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW: Staff recommends the City Council find this action is not subject to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Sections 15060(c)(2) (the activity will not result in a direct or reasonably foreseeable indirect physical change in the environment) and 15060(c)(3) (the activity is not a project as defined in Section 15378) of the CEQA Guidelines, California Code of Regulations, Title 14, Chapter 3, because it has no potential for resulting in physical change to the environment, directly or indirectly.
