That is an absolute waste of money. Please be more responsible. Maybe invest in something more useful like flashing crosswalks. Or save it. What a horrible waste of funds. There are many, many things to purchase that will enhance NB. The bunnies are bad enough. I still can't believe those were purchased. They have nothing to do with Newport Beach. Thank you! With unnecessary garnishes that you place in a pathetic attempt to raise property value and bring in new money, while you dismiss the actual citizens who were born and raised here that can't afford to possibly survive much less succeed in these types of economic conditions. But the funny thing is I would almost guarantee the person reading this message won't even be from our little town of Newport beach. So thanks for that. For taking our homes driving up our prices on food and clothing and almost anything else in the market of our town and for now making us pay for your stupid merry go round crap. If you have any understanding of what I'm saying, quit your job and go back home where you came from and leave newport to the people who were raised here. Thanks. Complete with expletives. From Nicole Paskerianlmallto:nkoleoaskerian®gmail.coml Sent: Saturday, May 7, 2016 10:40 PM To: Dept - City Council Subject: The sign I get spending money on a sign. But I have a hard time believing it costs that much. Our city government clearly likes to waste taxpayer money. First, art should have been donated not bought by the city. Second, what the heck was any human with a brain thinking it was ok to spend the public's money on "overpriced decorative designer useless chairs"???? Third, why are questions like bunnies and signs even being asked? So many people in Orange County pride themselves on going to USC. I assume, clearly assume, they believe they are smart. So why are there so many asinine decisions made within the city council??? No, I have not looked into where everyone has attended college, but guess there is at least 1 USC grad in the board. Living here, in this very small conservative town, WOW! Bunnies? Really? Chairs? Signs? Stop wasting our money on stupid shit worry about things that actually matter!! Get rid of the hookers at the Fashion Island restaurants. It's a big problem. So unless u r getting a happy ending, pay attention to things that matter. Veteran homes for disabled veterans need appropriate parking, i.e. West Newport. Don't think the bullshit goes unnoticed. Sent from my iPhone
