Dear Mayor Dixon,
First, I have been wanting to thank you for spearheading the WINN event and process. I believe that will open doors to
community service for many women in Newport Beach, who will realize the kinds of opportunities there are for them to
get involved.
The reason for this email is to advocate for adopting Resolution No. 2016-60, granting the CUP to The Dunes, as
requested. As you know, The Dunes is a very good citizen of Newport Beach. They are a business that gives back to the
community in many ways, which behavior should certainly be rewarded when possible. I personally believe this is an
opportunity for the city to not only act in a way that is best for the community as a whole, but at the same time
demonstrate appreciation for a business that is consistently striving to be an asset to the City of Newport Beach.
Thanks for all you do Mayor. It is appreciated.
