Subject: West Newport Mesa Streetscape
I am writing this email in follow up to our conversation the other day regarding the West Newport
Mesa Streetscape Plan. You mentioned that the meeting might run very long and might not address
the issue which I am concerned with until very late. You mentioned that much of the plans are still not
set with exacts and there will be time to make adjustments to my concerns. You also mentioned that I
could send this email so that you could make my concerns/comments part of the record regarding the
plans.
I want you to make a record of the following; "As owner of Minute King Market at 1526 Placentia Ave,
I am concerned that any median placed in the middle of Placentia Ave may impede my customers
ability to access my store when traveling South bound. I would like to be sure that my store will have
equal accessibility from both lanes of travel on Placentia Ave. I would not oppose any median
otherwise and believe that it is possible to reach an outcome in the plan that would do no harm to my
store accessibility."
