TITLE: Balboa Theater Potential Lease Amendments
ABSTRACT:
On September 13, 2011, the Balboa Theater Lease was presented to City Council with
amendments for their review and approval. City Council raised questions regarding the
procedures for any potential sale of the property and directed staff to research this item
and bring the lease back for review at the September 27, 2011, City Council meeting.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends that this item be continued to the October 11, 2011, meeting to allow
for sufficient time to research the issue and review the proposed amended lease with
the Balboa Foundation prior to the Council's review.
