Re: Removal of Agenda Item No. 18 (LCP Amendments) from the Agenda
In the interest of maximizing opportunities for the participation of the public and all
affected governmental agencies in the review of the proposed amendments to the
City's Local Coastal Program (LCP), staff is removing Agenda Item No. 18 Local
Coastal Program Amendments from tonight's agenda. Staff will subsequently
schedule the proposed amendments for a public hearing before the Planning
Commission. This will provide an opportunity for the community to provide
comments to the Planning Commission as part of their review of the proposed LCP
amendments. Once the Planning Commission completes their review and
recommendations, the proposed amendments will be scheduled for a public
hearing before the City Council.
