NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Tuesday, September 12, 2017, at 7:00 p.m., a public hearing will
be conducted in the City Council Chambers at 100 Civic Center Drive, Newport Beach. The City Council
of the City of Newport Beach will consider the following application:
Code Amendment for Setback Maps S -3A and S-313 - Amendments to the Zoning Code and Local
Coastal Program to correct setback maps for eight properties on Lido Isle (see below for affected
properties). During the 2010 Zoning Code update, the City inadvertently labeled eight properties
incorrectly on Setback Maps S -3A and S-313. The error was also included in the City's 2016 adoption of
Title 21. The purpose of the amendment is to correct the mapping errors only.
The project is categorically exempt under Section 15305, of the California Environmental Quality Act
(CEQA) Guidelines — Class 5 (Minor Alterations in Land Use Limitations).
NOTICE IS HEREBY FURTHER GIVEN that on July 6, 2017, by a vote of (6-0), the Planning
Commission of the City of Newport Beach recommended that the City Council adopt Amendments
to Setback Maps S -3A and S-313.
All interested parties may appear and present testimony in regard to this application. If you challenge
this project in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you raised at the public hearing or
in written correspondence delivered to the City, at, or prior to, the public hearing. Administrative
procedures for appeals are provided in the Newport Beach Municipal Code Chapter 20.64. The
application may be continued to a specific future meeting date, and if such an action occurs additional
public notice of the continuance will not be provided. Prior to the public hearing the agenda, staff report,
and documents may be reviewed of the City Clerk's Office, 100 Civic Center Drive, Newport Beach,
California, 92660 or at the City of Newport Beach website at www.newportbeachca.gov. Individuals not
able to attend the meeting may contact the Planning Division or access the City's website after the
meeting to review the action on this application.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Tuesday,
September 12, 2017, at 7:00 p.m., a public hearing will be
scnducted in the City Coural Chambers at 100 Civic Center Drive,
Newport Beads. The City Caunol of the City of Newport Beach will
consider the fallowing application:
Code Amendment for Setback Maps S•3A and 5-38
- Amendments to the Zomrg Cade and Local Coastal Program to correct
setback maps for eight properties on Lido Isle (see below for affected
properties). During the 2010 Zoning Code update, the City inadvertently,
labeled eight piopertars insunecNy on Setback Maps S -3A and 5.38. The
error was also included in the City's 2016 adoption of Tule 21. The
purpose of rhe amendmentis Incorrect the mapping errors only.
The project a categorically exempt under Section IS303, of the Cahfomw
Environmental Quality Act KEW Guidelines— Class S (Mina Alterations
in Land Use Limitations).
NOTICE IS HEREBY FURTHER GIVEN that on July 6, 2017,
by a vote of (6.0), the Planning Commission of the City of Newport Beach
recommended that the City Council adopt Amendments to Setback Maps
WA and 5.38.
