WHEREAS, it is necessary under the lam for the City Council of the City of Newport Beach to fix the salaries of all appointive officials and employees of the City of Newport Beach; and WHEREAS, the compensation and salaries of said appointive officials and employees have heretofore been fixed by resolution of the City Council; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach desires to change some of said salaries in certain particulars.
