ORDINANCE NO. 163.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH FIXING THE -
COMPENSATION OF THE CLERK
AND TREASURER THEREOF.
The Board of Trustees of the City
of Newport Beach do ordain as fol-
lows:
Section 1. From and after the pass-
age of this Ordinance the compensa
tion of the Clerk of the City of New-
port Beach shall be the sum of One.
Hundred and Fifty Dollars ($150.00)
per month, payable monthly at the
same time and in the same manner as
the compensation of all other officers',
of the said City is paid.
Section 2. From and after the pass-
age of this Ordinance the compensa-
tion of the Treasurer of the City of
Newport Beach shall be the sum of
Fifty Dollars ($50.00) per month, pay-
able monthly at the same time and in
the same manner as the compensation
of all other officers of the said City is
Section 3:-= -'This Ordinance shall be
Published once in the Newport News,
a newspaper of general circulation,
printed, published and circulated in
the City of Newport Beach, and shall
take effect and be in force thirty days
. after its passage.
This Ordinance was passed at a reg. j
War meeting of the Board of Trustees
of the City of Newport Beach held on
the Sth day of. March, 1920, and on
said day signed and approved by the
President thereof, the same being l(
passed by the votes of the followingil
named ,members of said Board of.
