r' <br />r- <br />ORDINANCE ND 165. ;� <br />SAN ORDINANCE OF THE CJT , <br />NEWPORT BEACH, 'Am' TCPWp. <br />SECTION 10 OF ORDINANCE NO „; <br />110 OF SAID CITY, CONCERNJNQ'1 <br />THE LICENSING FOR THE PUR•I <br />POSE OF REVENUE AND TAXAJ <br />TION ALL AND EVERY KIND OF, <br />' <br />The Board of Trustees of the City of <br />Newport Beach do ordain as follows: <br />Section 1. Section 10 of Ordinance <br />No. 110 of the City of Newport Beach <br />is fiereby amended so as to read as <br />follows: <br />"Section 10. For every person, firm <br />or :corporation conducting, managing <br />or carrying on the business of selling; <br />bread from a wagon or other vehicle, <br />which bread is baked or manufac. <br />tured in the City of Newport Beach, <br />or who shall sell, furnish or,distribute <br />bread baked or manufactured outside <br />of the City of Newport Beach to cus. <br />tomers, restaurants, hotels, stores or) <br />other places of business inside of they <br />Cit$ of Newport Beach from or by' <br />means of a wagon or other vehicle, <br />the license shall be ten dollars ($10: , <br />00) per annum for each wagon or ve• <br />hicle used.” <br />The provisions oY Sept "_B oY Ordi• <br />nance, No. 110 shall not apply to the <br />sale, furnishing or distribution of <br />bread. <br />Section 2. This Ordinance shall <br />take effect and be In force thirty day= <br />after its passage, and shall be printed <br />and published once in the Newport <br />News, a newspaper of general circula- <br />tion printed, published and circulated <br />in the City of Newport Beach. <br />The above and foregoing Ordinance <br />No. 165 wzs passed at a regular meet. <br />ping of the Board of Trustees of the <br />;City of Newport Beach and approved <br />by the President of said Board on the <br />5th day of April, 1920; by the follow - <br />Ing vote: <br />Ayes— Trustees J. P. Greeley, J. J. <br />Schnitker, A. L. Heard, L. S. Wilkin-, <br />son. <br />Noes —None. <br />1 Absent — Trustee J. C. McCain. <br />'Attest: M. L.
