The said Portions <br />of said street so closed -up, va- <br />cated and abandoned for ,public <br />street purposes are described as <br />follows: <br />All that portion of Carnation <br />Avenue (sometimes called 30th <br />Avenue) within the said City, from <br />the southwesterly line of Fhst <br />Avenue (sometimes called 53rd <br />Place) to the northeasterly line of <br />Pacific Drive (sometimes called <br />Electric Way Street). <br />SECTION II. <br />That th3 public work llereh: <br />provided for is the closing -up I. <br />the street herein described in Sec - <br />lion I, and it ' appearing to the <br />Board of Trustees that there are <br />no coilts, <br />dSI1laLes Rt egPense oc- <br />. <br />casioned by or arising out of said <br />work, and that no assessment is <br />necessary to pay the costs. <br />damages or expenses of said work, <br />and that therefore no commission- <br />ers shall be appointed to assess <br />benefits and damages. <br />SECTION' III. <br />The City Clerk shall certify to <br />the passage of this Ordinance and <br />shall cause the same to be pub- <br />lished by one Insertion in the New- <br />port News, a weekly newspaper <br />printed, published and circulated <br />in said City, and which is hereby <br />designated for that purpose. <br />Passed and approved this 15th <br />day of March, 1926. <br />CEO.
