" <br />At the time of taking out a� <br />building permit by any person for <br />the erection of any building in the! <br />City of Newport Beach if the said' <br />building when erected shall be <br />located within 200 feet of a main <br />sewer fine, an application to haves <br />said building connected with the <br />,public sewer ;hall be filed with the <br />Superintendent of the water sys- <br />tem of the city of Newport Beach, <br />and no building permit under such <br />conditions shall be issued until <br />said application is signed and <br />filed. <br />The application shuil set forth[ <br />the name of the applicant and a! <br />description of the Property upon <br />which the sewer connection is to <br />be made, and the approximate dis- <br />tance of the building when erected <br />from the nearest point oil a main <br />sewer line of the public sewer. <br />The applicant shall also deposit <br />the sum of $5.00 for making the <br />connection and iaspeeting the same <br />when made, together with an ad- <br />ditional $1.00 for each foot of sewer <br />Pipe to be laid from the main ! <br />sewer this to a point on the prop- <br />erty to be connected, the point to <br />be designated by the o"ae pro- <br />vided, however, that the minimum <br />fee for making any connection <br />shall be $1 55.00. 1_ <br />No building hereafter erected in) <br />the city of Newport Beach shalt: <br />be occupied for any purpose all .1 <br />the :ame is connected with they <br />public sewer, if such building is <br />within 2e0 feet of a main sewer <br />pipeline, a.:d all fees and costs for <br />making said connection hae been! <br />paid. <br />All coune:tiens to the public <br />sever shall be made by the super- <br />intendent of the water system, or <br />by some person especially author- <br />ized by him to do so. <br />SECTION 2. <br />The above and foregoing Ordin- <br />ance No. 302 shall be published <br />area in NEWPORT NEWS a news- <br />paper of general circulation print- <br />ed, published, and 0.1culated in the <br />city of Newport Beach, and shall <br />take effect and be in €once from <br />and after its passage. <br />I hereby certify the foregoing <br />Ordinance No. 302 was passed by <br />the board of trustees of the city <br />Of Newport Beach at a regular <br />meeting thereof held the 5th day of <br />July, 1926, by the following vote: <br />AYES — Trustees.
