BEACH, AND ALSO AMENDING'. SECTIONS 4 AND fi THEREOF. i WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach do or- dain as follows: Section 1. Subdivision "B" of Section 1 of Ordinance No. 241 of the City of Newport Beach, is here- by amended to read as follows, to- wit; (b) All that portion of said Balboa Island, described as commencing at the point where the center line of Pearl Avenue produced southerly intersects the line of ordinary low tide of the Pacific Ocean In Newport Bay; thence northerly along said produced center line and the center line of Pearl Ave­- tine to the point where the same is intersected by the cen- ter line of an alley extending easterly and westerly along, adjoining and parallel with the northerly line of Lots 1 to 6 inclusive, of Block 7, Section 1 of Balboa Island, as per map of a resubdivision thereof re- corded in Book 6, page 30 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California; thence easterly along the cen- ter line of said alley to the point where it unites with the center line of an alley extend - ing northerly through said Block 7; thence northerly along the center line of said alley to the southerly line of Park Avenue; thence north- erly across Park Avenue and along the center line of an ! alley extending northerly through Block,S of said Section 1 to the point where the center line of said alley is intersect- ed by the northerly line of Lot 22, said Block 9 produced west- erly; thence southeasterly and along the northerly line of said Lot 22 and across Agate Ave - nue and along the northerly line of Lot 26, Block 30, of said Section 1 and the northerly line of Lot 26 produced easter- ly to `its intersection with the center line of an alley extend- ing southerly through said Block 10; thence southerly along the center line of said alley to the northerly line of Park Avenue; thence across Park Avenue and along the renter line of the alley extend- ing southerly through Block 9, said ReCtipn 1, to the - point where it Intersects the center 'loo of the alley extending east- erly and westerly along, ad- joining, and parallel with the northerly line of Lots 1 to 6 inclusive, said Block 9 of Sec- tion 1; thence easterly along the center line of said alley to the point where it is intersect- sed by the center line of Opal Avenue; thence southerly along the center line of Opal Avenue and the center line thereof produced southerly to the point where it intersects the line of ordinary low tide In Newport Bay; thence north. I westerly along and pursuing the line of ordinary low tide in Newport Bay to the point of beginning; Also commencing at the Point where the center line of Central Avenue is intersected by the produced center line of the alley extending northerly and southerly through Block 12, Section 4, Balboa Island, as per may thereof recorded in Book 7, page 37, Miscellaneous f Maps, records of Orange Coun- ty, California; thence easterly along the center line of Central Avenue to the point where it i Intersected by the produced center line of the alley, extend- ing northerly and southerly through Block 11, said Section 4; thence southerly along the eenter line of said alley to the point where it intersects the center line of Park Avenue; thence westerly 61ong the cen- ter line of Park Avenue to the point where it is intersected by the center line of the alley extending northerly and sontlh- eriy through said Block 12, Section 4; thence north along the center line of said alley to the point of beginning. Also that portion of the City of Newport Beach described as follows: Commencing at the point where the center line of Balboa Avenue, formerly known as Central Avemhe is intersected by the produced center line of the alley extend- ing northerly and southerly through Block 14, Section 4, Balboa Island, as per map thereof recorded in Book 7, page 37 of Miscellaneous Maps, . records of Orange County, CaB- foruia; thence westerly along said center line of Balboa Ave- nue to a point where it is in- tersected by the produced cen- ter line of the alley extending northerly and southerly through Block 13 of said Sec- tion 4, Balboa Island; thence northerly along the center line of said alley in said Block to. an Intersection with the center- line of the alley extending easterly and westerly through said Block 13; thence easterly along the said center, line of the last mentioned alley, to an _intersection with the southerly prolongation of the westerly line of Lot 21 of said Block 13; thence northerly along the southerly prolongation of and the said westerly line of Lot 21 to the northwest corner of said Lot 21; thence easterly In a direct line to the northeast- erly corner of Lot 16 of said Block 14 of Section 4, Balboa Island; thence southerly along the easterly line and the south- erly prolongation of the east- erly line of said Lot 16, to an Intersection with the center line of the alley extending easterly and westerly through said Block 14; thence easterly along the said center line of the last mentioned alley to an intersection with the center line of the alley extending northerly and southerly through said Block 14; thence southerly along the said center line of the last mentioned alley to the point of beginning, shall constitute and is hereby crest- ed and declared to be District No. 2.
