. The City Council of the City of
Newport Beach do ordain as fol-
lows:
SECTION 1. The City of New-
port Beach does hereby dedicate
to the public for public street
purposes, the following described
real property situated in the City
of Newport Beach, County of Or-
ange, State of California, and
more particularly described as fol-
lows, to -wit:
All those certain tide lands
in 'Section 34, Township 6,
South, Range 10 West, S. B.
B. & M., described as follows,
to -wit:
Beginning at the point of
intersection of the easterly
Prolongation of the southerly
line of Bay Avenue, as Bay
Avenue is laid out and shown
on a map of Tract No. 626,
Recorded in Miscellaneous
Maps, Book 30, pages 40 and
41, Records of Orange Coun-
ty, California, with the east-
erly line of 10th Street as said
10th Street is described in Or-
dinance No. 390 passed by the
City Council of Newport Beach
on November 3rd, 1930; run-
ning thence South 72° 31' 30"
East along the said easterly
Prolongation of the southerly
line of Bay Avenue 325.05 feet
to an intersection with the
northerly prolongation of the
westerly line of Lot 5, Block
109, as shown on a map of
Section B, Newport Beach,
recorded in Miscellaneous
Maps, Book 4, page 27, Rec-
ords of said county, said point
of intersection being north
17° 30' East, 110 feet from
the northwest corner of said
l.ot 5; thence north 176 30'
East, 50 feet; thence north 720
31' 30" West 325.07 feet to an
intersection with the said
easterly line of 10th Street;
thence south 171 28'.30" West,
50 feet to the point of begin-
ning.
SECTION 2. It is hereby de -'
clared that the name of the street
dedicated by the City of Newport
Beach to the public for street pur-
poses heretofore described and the
easterly extension of said street
to 9th Street, shall be known and
hereinafter designated as Bay
Avenue.
SECTION 3. The above and
foregoing Ordinance shall be print- ._
ed and published once in Newport
News, a newspaper of general cir-
culation printed, published and cir-
culated in the City of Newport
Beach, and shall take effect and be
in force thirty days after its pass-
age.
I hereby certify that the fore
going Ordinance was introduced,
at a regular adjourned meeting of
the City Council of the City of
Newport Beach, held on the 22nd
day of October, 1934, and was
duly passed and adopted at a._
regular adjourned meeting of said
City Council held on the 29th day
of October, 1934, by the following
vote, to -wit:
AYES. COUNCILMEN: Gordon,'
Claire, Ellsworth, Garfield, Hilmer.
NOES, COUNCILMEN: None.
ABSENT, COUNCILMEN: None.

The foregoing Ordinance is ap-
proved by me this 30th day of Oc-
