The Council of the City of New- port Beach do ordain as follows: WHEREAS, during the last forty years, there have been en- acted many Ordinances of the City of Newport Beach, the provisions of which have become obsolete or have been superseded by State law, or have been repealed by im- plication by other Ordinances of the City of Newport Beach, but which Ordinances have not been expressly repealed; The City Council does hereby spe- cifically repeal those Certain Or- dinances and parts of Ordinances hereinafter enumerated, to -wit: Ordinance No. 3. An Ordinance providing for the printing and posting of Ordinances. Ordinance No. 6. An Ordin ^nce imposing an annual tax upon dogs and prescribing rules for the hand- ling of stray and unlicensed dogs. Ordinance No. T. An Ordinance prohibiting gambling, drunken- ness, fighting, loitering, keeping of disorderly houses, opium dens, etc. Ordinance No. 8. An Ordinance licensing intoxicating liquor. Ordinance No. 9. An Amend- ment to the License Ordinance. Ordinance No. 11. An Ordinance requiring an annual report of any company furnishing water to the City. Ordinance No. 12. An Ordinance providing for the advertising by the Clerk for bids for printing for the year 1907. Ordinance No. 14. An Ordinance prohibiting signs over sidewalks. Ordinance No. 16. An Ordinance prescribing rates for water com- panies for the year 1907. Ordinance No. 20. An Ordinance amending Ordinance No. 8. regu- lating sale of intoxicating liquor. Ordinance No. 28.
