ORDINANCE NO. 589
ORDINANCE AMENDING OR-
DINANCE 525 BY ADDING A
NEW SECTION DENOMINAT-
ED "SECTION 20" TO THE
DISTRICTING MAP OF THE
CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH
The City Council of the City of
Newport Beach does ordain as fol-
lows:
SECTION 1. Section 3 of Ordi-
nance 525 is hereby amended so
that the language therein contain-
ed, to w-it, "Section 1 to 19, inclu-
sive" and "20 sheets" shall read.
respectively "Sections 1 to 20" and
"21 sheets ".
SECTION 2. There be and here-
by attached to said Ordinance 525
and hereby adopted and made a
part thereof a map numbered "Sec-
tion 20 ", copy of which said map
is attached to this Ordinance and
by this reference made a part
hereof and all annotations, refer-
ences and other information shown
thereon shall be as much a part
of this Ordinance as if all matters
and information thereon set forth:
were fully described herein.
SECTION 3. Said map numbered
"Section 20" and all annotations,
references and other information
shown thereon shall be as much a
part of said Ordinance 525 as if
all matters and information there-
on set forth were fully described
in said Ordinance 525.
SECTION 4. The land and lots,
as delineated and platted on said
map, are hereby zoned as follows,
to wit:

Zone R -1: Lots 47 to 60 inclusive
Lots 65 to 189 inclusive
Zone R -2: Lots 4 to 46 inclusive
Lots 61 to 64 inclusive
Lot 190
Zone R -3: Lots 1, 2 and 3
SECTION 5. This Ordinance
shall be published once in the
Newport- Balboa Press, a newspa-
per printed and published and of
general circulation in the City of
Newport Beach.
The foregoing Ordinance was in-
troduced at a regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of
Newport Beach held on the 28th
day of February, 1949 and pur-
suant to the provisions of Ordi-
nance 525 a public hearing there-
on was set for the 14th day of
March, 1949, being a regular meet-
ing of the City Council of the City
of Newport Beach, and said hear-
ing was duly held thereon and on
said 14th day of March, 1949, said
Ordinance was amended to read
as above and thereafter on the
28th day of March, 1949, said Or-
dinance as so amended was duly
adopted by the following vote, to
wit:
AYES, COUNCILMEN Greeley,
Robertson, Isbell, Blue, Drake.
NOES, COUNCILMEN None
ABSENT, COUNCILMEN None
