AN ORDINANCE ADDING SEC-
TIONS 91049 AND 9104h TO
THE MUNICIPAL CODE AND
RECLASSIFYING THE LAND
USE OF CERTAIN LOTS IN
TRACTS 1011 AND 1136 IN
THE C I T Y OF NEWPORT
BEACH FROM R-1 TO C -1.
The City Council of the City
of Newport Beach does hereby
ordain as follows:
SECTION 1: Section 91049 is
hereby added to the Municipal
Code and reading as follows:
"Section 9104g. Section 3 of
the Districting Map is
amended in the following par-
ticulars, to wit: Lots 69, 70,
71, 72, 73, 74 and 75 of Tract
1011, in the City of Newport
Beach are hereby changed
from R -1 Residential District
to C -1 Commercial District."
SECTION 2: Section 9104h is
hereby added to the Municipal
Code and reading as follows:
"Section 9104h. Section 5 of
the Districting Map is
amended in the following par-
ticulars, to wit: Lots 1, 2, 3,
4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13,
17 and 18 of Tract 1136, in
the City of Newport Beach
are hereby changed from R -1
Residential 'District to C -1
Commercial District."
SECTION 3: Sections 3 and 5
of the Districting Map, which
sections are attached hereto and,
by this reference, made a part of
this ordinance, are hereby adopted
with the same force and effect
as if all matters and information
contained in said Sections 3 and
5 of said Districting Map were
fully described in this ordinance.
SECTION 4: This ordinance
shall be published at least once
in the Newport - Balboa Press, a
newspaper of general circulation
printed and published in the City
of Newport Beach and shall be
in force and effect thirty days
after the final passage thereof.
The foregoing ordinance was in-
troduced at a regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of
Newport Beach held onthe 9th
day of January, 1950, and pur-
suant to the provisions of
Ordinance 525 a public hearing
thereon was set for the 23rd day
of January, 1950, being a regular
meeting of the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach, and
said hearing was duly held thereon
and thereafter and on the 14th
day of February, 1950 said ordi-
nance was duly adopted by the
following vote, to wit:
AYES, COUNCILMEN Greeley,
Robertson, Isbell, Blue, Drake
NOES, COUNCILMEN None
ABSENT, COUNCILMEN None
