ORDINANCE NO. 625
ORDINANCE AMENDING SEC,
TION 10157 OF THE MU-
NICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH DE-
LETING O N E SWIMMING
AREA THEREOF.
WHEREAS, by Ordinance 616
the City of Newport Beach did
;provide for certain swimming
areas and the protection there-
of;
WHEREAS, it is now deemed
:advisable and for the best in-
terest of the citizens of the City
of Newport Beach that Swimming
Area No. 5 as set out in said Ordi-
nance 616, Section 1, subpara-
graph E be now deleted there-
from and no longer designate or
be a protected swimming area.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City
Council of the City of Newport
Beach does ordain as follows:
SECTION 1: Section 10157 of
the Municipal Code of the City of
Newport Beach is amended by de-
leting therefrom subdivision E
(Swimming Area No. 5).
SECTION 2: This ordinance
shall be published at lease once in
the Newport - Balboa Press, a
newspaper of general circulation,
_printed and published in the City
of Newport Beach and shall talie
effect thirty (30) days after the
final passage thereof.
The above and foregoing ordin-
ance was introduced at a regular
meeting of the City .Council held
on the 26th day of June, 1950
and was finally passed and adopt-.
ed on the 10th day of July, 1950
by the following vote, to wit:
AYES, Councilmen Finch,
Drake, Greeley, Blue, Isbell
NOES, Councilmen, None.
ABSENT, Councilmen Nona
