This space is for the County Clerk's Filing Stamp Ordinance No. 707 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH AMENDING SECTION 3 OF ORDINANCE No. 691, ADDING SECTION 3.1 THERETO, AMENDING SECTION 1 OF, ORDINANCE No. 700, WHICH IN TURN AMENDED SEC- TION 6 OF ORDINANCE No. 691, CHANGING THE EF- FECTIVE DATE OF A1IIEND- ED SECTIONS 8614 AND 8616 OF THE J] H'AL CODE OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH. The City Council of the City of Newport Beach does ordain as follows: SECTION 1: Section 3 of Ordi- nance No. 691 is hereby amended by deleting therefrom that portion thereof adding Section 8616 to the Municipal Code of the City of - Newport Beach. SECTION 2: There is hereby added to Ordinance No. 691 a new section, to be known as Section .3.1, which shall read as follows: "Section 3.1. There is hereby added to the Municipal Code of the City of Newport Beach, Set!4 tion 8616, to read as follows: :'Section 8616. Numbering, Bay - •slde Drive, State Highway to Avocado. All houses and buildings on Rayside Drive in the City of Newport Beach, between East Coast Highway and Avocado Ave- ' nue shall be numbered as follows: " Bayside Drive from its center line intersection with East Coast Highway, easterly to the center line intersection with Marine Ave- nue, shall be numbered as follows, wherever it may lie within the boundaries of the City of Newport Beach: East house numbers shall be aplicable from and including the 300 Block adjacent to and easterly of East Coast Highway, to and including the 1000 Block adjacent to and westerly of Marine Avenue; said blocks are each des- ignated as 617.82 feet plus or minus in length and include space taken up by any or all intersect- ing streets. Said house numbers are to be even numbers along the northerly or easterly side of the street and odd numbers along the southerly or westerly side of the street, and are to be assigned by the Building Department of the City of Newport Beach. They are to be distributed on a basis of twenty -five feet per number, ex- cluding the number 13 unless said number 13 is specifically requested by the owner of the property where said number 13 could apply. " Bayside Drive from its center line intersection with Marine, Avenue to the westerly side of Avocado Avenue shall be renum- bered as follows, wherever it may, lie within the boundaries of the City of Newport Beach: East house numbers shall be applicable from and including the 1100 Block adjacent to and easterly of Marine Avenue to and including the 2100 Block adjacent to and westerly of Avocado; said blocks are each designated as being 438.76 feeti Plus or minus in length and in-, elude space taken up by any or, all intersecting streets. The foregoing Ordinance was in- traduced at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Newport Beach, held on the 23rd day of February, 1954, and was finally passed and adopted on the 2nd day of March, 1954, by the ,following vote, to wit: AYES, Councilmen Smith, Finch, Isbell, Bennett, Miller.
