API ORDINANCE OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT REACH CHANG,
INC THE NAMES OF CERTAIN'
STREET'S AND NAMING A;
CERTAIN STREET.
The City Council of the .City oY.
Newport Beach does hereby or-
dain as follows:
SECTION 1: The name of exist -.
ting Short Street between Bolsa
Avenue and Westminster Av-
enue, is hereby changed to
"Broad Street," and said street
is hereby designated and named
"Broad Street."
SECTION 2: The name of ex-
isting Old County Road between
Orange Avenue and Westminster.
Avenue, is hereby changed to
"Clay Street," and said street is
hereby designated and named
"Clay Street."
SECTION 3: The name of all
that portion of Newport Boule-
vard northerly of its intersection
with.the Coast Highway and in-
eluding the North East Ramp
known as Newport Beach Boule-
vard, is hereby changed to
"North Newport Boulevard," and,
said portion of said street is
hereby designated and named
"North Newport Boulevard."
SECTION 4: The first alley
north of Balboa Boulevard, be-
tween 18th and 19th Streets, is
hereby designated and named.
"Vilelle Place."
SECTION 5: This Ordinance
shal be published once in the
Newport Harbor Ensign, a news-
paper of general circulation,
printed and published in the City
of Newport Beach, and the same,
shall be in full force and effect
30; days after this passage.
The foregoing Ordinance was
introduced at a regular meeting
of the City Council of the City of
Newport Beach, held on the 12th
day of July, 1954, and was final -
;y passed and adopted on the
26th day of July, 1954, by the fol-
lowing vote, to-wit:
AYES, COUNCILMEN: BROER-
ING, SMITH, MILLER, BENNETT,
HILL.
NOES, COUNCILMEN: None.
ABSENT COUNCILMEN: None.
