AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH NAM -
ING CERTAIN STREETS
The City Council of the City
of ,Newport Beach does hereby;
ordain as follows:
SECTION 1: The existing
thirty -foot right of way between
Balboa Boulevard and Blocks 136
and 137 in River Section, and
extending between 36th and 38t hi,
Streets, is hereby designated and
named "Para: Lane."
SECTION 2: The section of
County Road twenty feet wide„
and filled channel forty feet,
wide, proposed to be improved
between Balboa Boulevard and
Coast Highway and lying north;
crly of and adjacent to .Blocks,
46 to 5,1 inclusive, of River Sec•,
tion and northerly of the Pacific
Electric Railway right of way
between 54th and 58th Streets,
Being'• in practical alignment
with the existing River Avenue;
is hereby designated and named
"River Avenue."
SECTION 3: The twenty -foot
roadway between Blocks 0 -32
and A -32, Corona del Mar Tract,
is hereby designated and named
"Way Lane."
SECTION 4: Lot A in Tract No.
1026 and Lot A in Tract No. 1257,
ere hereby d e s i g n a t e d and
named "Breakers Drive."
SECTION 5: This ordinance
shall be published once in the
Newport Harbor Ensign, a news -.
paper of general circulation,,
printed and published in the
City of Newport Beach, and the
same shall be in full force and
effect thirty days after its pas;
sage.
The foregoing ordinance was
introduced at a regular meeting
of the City Council of the City of
Newport Beach, held on the 8th
day of November, 1954, and was
finally passed and adopted on
the 22nd day of November, 1954,
by the following vote, to -wit:
AYES, COUNCILMEN: Broer-
ing, Smith, Bennett, Hill.
NOES, COUNCILMEN: None.
ABSENT COUNCILMEN: None.
