STATE OF CALIFORNIA,
The City Council of the City
of Newport Beach does hereby
ordain as follows:
SECTION 1: The City Coancil
of the City of Newport Beach
finds and determines that the
public interest, convenience and
necessity require: .
The acquisition by the City of
Newport Beach, of easements ire

and upon ce.ta_n real properties
for public alley purposes for the
opening and improving of an
alley from a point sixty (60)
feet northwest of Prospect Street
to a point ninety (90) feet irorth-
West of Prospect Street, being
strip fifteen (15) feet wide and
constituting the northeast fifteen
(15) feet of Lot 3, Block C, Sea-
shore Colony Tract, City of New.
port Beach, County of Orange,
State of California, as described
In Section 2 of this Ordinance.
SECTION 2: The real property
In and upon which the public
interest and necessity require an
easement for public alley pur-
poses described in Section 1 here• -
4.of is situated in the City of New.
port Beach; County of, Orange,
State of California, and is more
particularly described as as 'follows,
to wit:
All that portion of Lot 3,
Block C, Seashore Colony
Tract, as per map recorded
in Book 7, Page 25, Miscel-
laneous Map Records of Or-
range County, California, de-
scribed as follows: The
northwest fifteen (15) feet
thereof.
SECTION 3: Stevens Fargo is
hereby authorized and appointed
as special attorney of the City
of Newport Beach solely for the
purpose of bringing and: main•
taining an action or actions in
the name of the City of Newport
Beach in the Superior Court of
the State. of California in and
for the County of Orange for the
condemnation of the easements
authorized to be condemned in
this Ordinance, and is autlibr.
ized, empowered and directed to
bring and maintain such action.
SECTION 4: The above and
foregoing Ordinance shall be.
published once in the Newport.
Harbor Ensign, a newspaper of
general circulation, printed and
published in the City of Newport
Beach, and the same shall be ^in'
full force and effect thirty (30)
days after the final passage
thereof.
The foregoing Ordinance was
introduced at a regular meeting
of the City Council of the City of
Newport Beach held on the 27th
day of December, 1954, and was
finally passed and adopted on
the 10th day of January, 1955, by
the following roll call vote, to
wit:
