CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH
ADDING SECTION 8123 TO
THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF
THE CITY OF NEWPORT

TURES IN TRAILER PARKS.
The City Council of the City of
Newport Beach doeK ordain as
follows:
SECTION 1: There is hereby
added to the Municipal Code of
the City of Newport Beach, Sec-
tion 8123, to read as follows:
"Section 8123: Trailer Park
Rules and Regulations for Struc-
tures in Trailer Parks. The City
of Newport Beach hereby adopts
those certain documents herein-
after referred to, three copies of
6'ach which are on file for the
use and examination of the pub-
lic in the office of the City Clerk,
and each is hereby adopted as;
the Trailer Park Code of the City
for the purpose of regulating the
erection, construction and en.
largement, alteration, repair,
moving; removal, conversion, de-
molition, occupancy, equipment,
use, height, area and mainfeh'
ance of trailers, trailer parks, ca-
banas or structures; said docu-
fn'ents are described in para-
gtaphs 1., 2 and 3 hereof as fol-
lows:
"1. Rules and regulations for
ytructures in trailer parks of the
Division of Housing, Department
of Industrial Relations, State of
California as provided for in
Title 8, Chapter,9, Article 4 of the
California Administrative Code,
in effect November 12, 1954, ex-
cept as set forth in paragraph 1.
hereof.
• "2. All of that portion of the
State Trailer Park Act pertai
ing to trailer parks as provided,
for in Division 13, Part 2 of the
Health and Safety Code of the
State of California.
"3r That portion of parts 6 and
7 pertaining to trailer parks of
the Plumbing Rules and Regula-
tions for Independent Trailer
Coaches pursuant to the provi-
sions of Title 8, Chapter 9, Artl-
ele 3 of the California Adrriirti.

"4. Said City of Newport Beach
Hereby adopts and incorporates
herein by reference Section 8302
of the Electrical Code of the City
of Newport Beach in the place
And stead of Part it set forth and
contained in the said Rules and
Regulations referred to in Para-
. graph, 1 hereof."
SECTION 2: The above and
foregoing . ordinance shall be
Published once in the Newport
Harbor Ensign, a newspaper of
general circulation, printed and
' bub,ished and circulated in the
City of Newport Beach, and the
same shall be in full force and
effect 30 days after this passage.
The foregoing ordinance was
introduced at a regular meeting
of the City Council of the City
of Newport Beach, held on the
10th day of January, 1955, and
was finally passed and adopted
nn the 17th day of January, 1955,
by the following vote, to wit:
• AYES, COUNCILMEN: Smith,
Ridderhof, Bennett, Hill.
NOES, COUNCILMEN: None.
ABSENT COUNCILMEN: Broer-
ing.
