time of annexation, for the ac-
quisition, construction, or com-
pletion of municipal improve-
ments.
SECTION 3: That the boun-
daries .of the City of Newport
Beach, California, be; and the
same are hereby altered to in-
Iclude the territory described in
Exhibit "A" attached hereto,
the annexation of which is ap-
proved and ordained herein, and
incorporated in the City of New-
, port Beach, California.
SECTION 4: That the pro-
ceedings and annexation herein
ordained are had and taken un-
der and pursuant to the provi-
sions of an act of the Legisla-
ture of the State of California,
designated and referred toles
the "Annexation of Uninhabited
Territory Act of 1939 ".
SECTION 5: The above and
foregoing ordinance shall be
published once in the Newport -
Harbor News Press, a newspaper
City of Newport Beach, and the
same shall he in full force and
effect thirty (30) days after
this passage!
The above and foregoing or-
dinance was introduced at a reg-
ular meeting of the City Coun-
cil of the City of Newporlr Beach
held on the 23rd day of Decem-
ber, 1957, and was finally passed
and adopted on the 13 day of
January, - 1958, by the follow-
ing vote, to -wit:

er, MacKay, Stoddard, Higbie,
Ridderhof, Hill.
