ORDINANCE NO. 872
AN ORDINANCE OF THE
CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH
ESTABLISHING S E T B A C K
LINES AND AMENDING
DISTRICT M A P NO. 29
ADOPTED BY SECTION
9102.2 OF THE NEWPORT
BEACH MUNICIPAL CODE
RELATING TO ZONING AND
SETBACK LINES.
The City Council of the City of
Newport Beach does ordain as
follows:
SECTION 1: District Map No.
29 adopted by Section 9102.2 and
made a part of Article IX of the
Newport Beach Municipal Code
is amended and the following
building setback lines are here-
by established for the hereinaf-
ter described real property in the
City of Newport Beach, County
of Orange, State of California, as
follows:
(a) The front building
setback line for Lots 1 and 2
in Tract 2513, as per map
recorded in Book 110, pages
11 and 12 of Miscellaneous
Maps, Records of Orange
County, California, shall be
ten feet (10').
(b) The front building
setback line for Lots 3
through 12 in said Tract 2513
shall be twenty feet (20').
(c) The front building
setback line for Lot 13 in
said Tract 2513 shall be eigh-
teen feet (189.
(d) The front building
setback line for Lots 14
through 17 in said Tract 2513
shall be fifteen feet (15').
(e) The front building
setback line for Lot 18 in
said Tract 2513 shall be five
feet (5').
(f) The rear setback line
for Lots 1 through 13 in said
Tract 2513 shall be six feet
'-F6').
(g) The rear setback line
for Lots 14 through 17 in said
Tract 2513 shall be fifteen
feet (15').
(h) The setback line at
the southeasterly side of Lot
1 in said Tract 2513 shall be
twenty feet (20').
SECTION 2: The City En-
gineer of the City of New-
port Beach is hereby in-
structed and directed to
change District Map No. 29
so as to show the building
setback lines described in
Section 1 hereof and, as said
District Map shall have been
so amended, the same shall
remain in full force and ef-
fect and be a part of Ordi-
nance No. 635 of the City of
Newport Beach and Article
IX of the Newport Beach
Municipal Code.
SECTION 3: This Ordi-
nance shall be published
once in the Newport Harbor
Ensign, a newspaper of gen-
eral circulation, printed and
published in the City of
Newport Beach, and the
same shall be effective 30
days after the date of its
adoption.
This Ordinance was intro-
duced at a regular meeting
of the City Council of the
City of Newport Beach held
on the 12th day of January,
1959, and was adopted on the
26th day of January, 1959,
by the following vote, to wit:
AYES, COUNCILMEN: HART,
LORENZ, SOMERS, KINGSLEY,
ATKINSON, HIGBIE, S,TODDARD.
NOES, COUNCILMEN: NONE.
ABSENT, COUNCILMEN: NONE.
