AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH ADOPT-
ING DISTRICT MAPS NOS. 34,
35, AND 36, REZONING PROP-
ERTY, AND AMENDING DIS-
TRICT MAP NO. 28
The City Council of the City
of Newport Beach does ordain as
follows:
SECTION 1. The maps desig-
nated Districting Map, Newport
Beach — California, consisting of
Map No. 34, Map No. 35, and
Map No. 36, three copies of each
of which are on file in the office
of the City Clerk, are hereby
adopted by reference pursuant
to Section 415 of the Charter and
are made a part of Article IX of
the Newport Beach Municipal
Code in accordance with Section
9102.2 thereof.
SECTION 2. The following de-
scribed real property in the City
of Newport Beach, County of
Orange, State of California, to
wit:
Lots 1 to 61, inclusive, Tract
3201, as per map recorded in
Book 130, .pages 25 to 30, in-
clusive, of Miscellaneous
Maps, R e c o r d s of Orange
County, California.
as shown on said District Maps
Nos. 34 and 35 referred to in Sec.
tion 1 of this ordinance, be, and
the same is, hereby rezoned from
an Unclassified District - to an
M -1 -A District.
SECTION 3. The following de.
scribed real property in the City
of Newport Beach, County of
Orange, State of California, to
wit:
Lots 1 to 98, inclusive, Tract
3763, as per map recorded in
Book 131, pages 38 to 42, in-
. c l u s i v e, of Miscellaneous
;daps, R e c o r d s of Orange
County, California,
as shown on District Map No.
28 referred to in Section 9102.2
of the Newport Beach - Municipal
Code and on District Map No. 36
referred to in Section 1 of this
ordinance, and made a part of
Article IX of said'Code, be, and
the same is, hereby rezoned from
an Unclassified District to an
R -1 -B District, and said Map No.
28 is hereby amended to show
this zoning change.
SECTION 4. The Planning DI-
rector of the City of Newport
Beach is hereby instructed and
directed to change District Map
No. 28 so as to show the zoning
change described in Section 3
hereof, and, as said District Map
shall have been so amended, the
same shall remain in full force
and effect and be a part of Ar-
ticle IX of the Newport Beach
Municipal Code.
SECTION 5. This ordinance
shall be published once in the
official newspaper of the City,
and the same shall be effective
30 days after the date of its
adoption.
This ordinance was introduced
at a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City, of Newport
Beach held on the 27th day of
June, 1960, and was adopted on
the 11th day of duly, 1960, by
the following vote, to wit:
AYES, COUNCILMEN: Hart,
Lorenz, Somers, Kingsley,
Atkinson, Cook.
NOES, COUNCILMEN: None.
ABSENT, COUNCILMEN:
Stoddard.
